Lexan Margard is a popular brand of hard coated polycarbonate sheet with a range of applications. In the past it’s been used for plastic machine guards, glazing and even for astronaut helmets & visors for visits to the moon during the 1960s.
Lexan Margard is also a popular choice for bulletproof glass windows and safety shields due to shatter-proof qualities and light weight. Due to being hard coated, Margard is more expensive than un-coated Lexan Sheet.
As well as supplying Lexan Margard sheets in various grades, we also have our own branded PolyGuard Sheet as a more cost effective option which can be applied single or double sided.
All Lexan sheets are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.75mm to 12mm and with two colour options for a non hardcoated sheet: clear or bronze. Lexan polycarbonate sheet comes as standard in sheet sizes of 2050x1250mm, 2440x1220mm, and 3050x2050mm, depending on your preference.
PolyGuard is available in a wider ranger of thicknesses and colours depending on your requirements and sheets can be manufactured to your specific sizes if needed.
