CNC Turning

Through our strategic partnership with Redco, Peerless are able to offer customers precision plastic turning on a fully automated CNC lathe. Using the latest engineering machines and technology, products and parts can be design, produced and replicated in the shortest possible turnarounds and to the highest level of detail.

The CNC turning process is used to produce shapes which are usually of a cylindrical nature. These are then turned at up to 4,500 rpm before a cutting tool will shape the original material to the desired and finished product.

Products can range greatly, from pipes & fittings, furniture parts, toys & games and sports equipment. A wide range of plastic materials can be lathed including:

  • Polycarbonate
  • ABS
  • PET
  • PMMA
  • PVC
  • HDPE

A range of 5 machines are available with the longest length at 1250mm and a maximum possible radius of 650mm.
