CNC Milling

Through our strategic partnership with Redco, Peerless are now able to offer Plastic CNC Milling to customers. This controlled and precise process is perfect for producing premium quality and high tolerance parts to a range of industries.

CNC Milling is a computer controlled process which is a cross between drilling and cutting to produce formed parts made of solid plastic. It is not that different from CNC routing, however due to the size of the machines they can often be more accurate and able to produce higher parts. Through a local strategic partner, Peerless are able to offer a high level of service and quality for all CNC milled plastic parts.

We are able to mill many different plastic substrates including:

  • Polycarbonate
  • Nylon
  • ABS
  • Acetal & Delrin
  • Polyester (PET)
  • Polypropylene
  • PTFE

Whilst similar to CNC routing, milling is better suited to solid parts rather than flat sheets and will have a much higher axis of movement on the vertical plane. We are able to offer a range of machines, including a Hurco VMX42i. With a bed of 1066 x 610mm, 4 axis and over 10,000rpm it is one of the most well known and precise CNC machines on the market.
