Conductive Coatings
Conductive Coatings are the preferred shielding solution due to several advantages: applicable to any shape, a single operation to achieve shielding, may be incorporated to already launched or designed products. Conductive Coatings are loaded with metallic particles. The metal in the paint conducts electricity, therefore making the film conductive. A wide range of Conductive Coatings are used. Listed from the most conductive to the most resistant: Silver, Silver plated Copper & Nickel loaded paints are the most common conductive films applied to plastic or composite surfaces.
