CNC Machining

Plastic Fabrication and CNC Machining is an everyday part of the service that Peerless provide to clients and customers. As technology advances, precision engineering comes as standard and our new CNC Router offers excellent machining speeds alongside unrivalled precision and finishes. Our latest CNC Router is a Tekcel EXR which features a 3 x 2 metre bed and drill motor offering a maximum speed of 600mm per second. We are also able to profile parts thicker than ever before and plastic up to 40mm is now possible.

From our HQ in Thetford, Norfolk, this new machinery enables Peerless to offer increased quality standards with a much higher accuracy on tolerances and repeatability for CNC machined and profiled parts. The larger router bed offers not only the opportunity to machine larger parts but also increase productivity and economy with smaller parts – maximising the total yield per sheet.

We specialise in most types of plastic substrate, including, but not limited to:

  • Polycarbonate
  • Acrylic sheet
  • PET
  • PETg
  • SAN

An automatic tool changer is present without the need of manual intervention – this aids quicker processing times on multiple passes, including combining cutting and edged chamfers. There are also a selection of polishing tools to give a polished edge finish should they be required.

As well as the new CNC Milling Machine, we are also able to offer a full suite of CNC Programming to turn your designs or drawing into full fledged machining plans.

As well as CNC Machining we offer a comprehensive plastic cutting and fabrication facility which includes:

  • A 4x2m wall saw
  • Two precision table saws (one with an area of 3x2m and the other with an area of 1x1m)
  • One plastic CNC cutting table
  • Chamfers
  • Bevels
  • Drilling services
