Peeramist is a semi-hard anti-fog / anti-mist coating with excellent optical properties, it improves the abrasion resistance of acrylics and polycarbonate substrates,and complies to DIN 4646-part 8.
The procedure for assessing anti-mist performance is to expose the material to a temperature of 50c at 100% RH, measuring the length of time for the material to lose more than 20% transparency. A minimum of 10 seconds is required for compliance. It is possible to thermoform the coating and the coating does not effect the impact resistance of polycarbonate.
Peeramist has the flexibility to be tailor made to suit a wide range of environmental conditions by either increasing the anti-misting time or by increasing the abrasion resistance depending on the merits of the individual application.

Peeramist Automotive
Has high anti-misting properties but very low abrasion resistance. It is mainly designed for the coating of inside headlamp lenses.
Peeramist Visor
Has excellent optical qualities and abrasion resistance, with medium anti-misting properties. It is mainly designed as the name would indicate, for visors.
