Peerless has seen over the years the advantages of introducing a paint facility to compliment the main coating business. To this end Peerless invested heavily and installed two paint booths in air managed Class 1000 clean rooms and also a conveyor paint line for large volume parts.

The dedicated clean room paint facilities are designed for the painting of polycarbonates and other plastic substrates. It specialises in the automotive and electronic obscuration markets. Masking is carried out either by hand vinyl masking, computer generated masks or via specially designed electro form fixtures.

Small volume paint runs and sampling is also carried
out in this facility.

The conveyor spray line has 39 paint stations and can paint high volume parts with the greatest of ease. With air managed water back paint booths and inline drying tunnels repeatable quality is guaranteed every time. Jigs are manufactured to hold the parts through process, which are in turn hung on the conveyor as the parts are painted and dried.
Applications Include:
Obscuration bands
Painted bevels
Message signs
Electronic enclosures
Conductive shielding
