Hesa-glas from Notz
Hesa-glas sheets are acrylic sheets based on PMMA (Polymethylmethacrylate) and is a specialist cast acrylic with excellent optical qualities. It has a tight thickness tolerance level of +/- 0.2mm ranging from 0.5mm to 6mm in 0.1mm increments. It is available in a wide range of tints, four fluorescent colours and a silicone 'glass look'. There is a small batch (17 sheets) colour matching service available.
It's good optical properties include a light transmission of 92% and a refractive index of 1.492, making it ideal for optics, LCD/LED covers and displays, optical filters and model making.
